Measurement

• Snug Fit Measurement:  Devices are sized at a compressed fit.
  • Measuring loose vs. skin tight can result in incorrect measurement.
• Forearm measurement around the largest part of the Forearm muscle group.
• Can be dictated by support used.

Fitting

• Choose best device for injury.
• Applied across the elbow covering part of the forearm muscle group & biceps muscle.
• Generally applied with palm facing up.
• Slide hand through support and pull up to desired position.

Post Fitting

• Have patient check fitting through function.
• Brace should not irritate the affected area.
