Maternity Support
Support for the expectant mother. Helps provide relief for strained muscles and ligaments by transferring the weight of the abdomen to the spine. Elastic construction helps relieve pressure on the pelvis while supporting the abdomen. The soft, comfortable, hook-and-loop front pad provides additional lift.
Size according to pre-pregnancy dress size. S93-8), M(9-14), L(15-18), XL(19+)

Measurement For Abdominal Supports
- Measurement done from side in sitting position..
- Measure (True Waist)
- Snug Fit Measurement: Devices are sized at a compressed fit.
- Measurement loose vs. skin tight can be 2-2 ½ inches.
- Hip Measurement:
- Measure at fullest part of the buttocks
- Approx: greater trochanter / symphisis pubis
Fitting
- Fitting is done (with doctor) sitting down and patient standing to the side.
- Device is fitted from the back and finished in the front.
- Center support
- Back Panel: Bottom of brace should be around (very top of crease of buttocks)
- Wrap fitting tab around and underneath abdomen to secure back panel in place.
- Front Panel: Attach one side of the front panel. Bring panel under the abdomen and attach at the other side with appropriate tension that provides support and comfort.
- Readjust as necessary and center front panel.
Post Fitting
- Sit down to check fitting and also walk.
- Trunk length will shorten when sitting.
- Should not dig into lower abdomen or fitted to low.
- Device is fitted from the back and finished in the front.
- Center support
- Back Panel: Bottom of brace should be around (very top of crease of buttocks)
- Wrap fitting tab around and underneath abdomen to secure back panel in place.
- Front Panel: Attach one side of the front panel. Bring panel under the abdomen and attach at the other side with appropriate tension that provides support and comfort.
- Re-adjust as necessary and center front panel.
- Removal: Disengaging Velcro and attach to device to make application easier.
- Depending on your condition, application may need to be demonstrated by the healthcare provider to a secondary care-taker or significant other.
- Best secure fitting is with patient laying down w/knees bent.
