Description

The Swede-O® Thermal Vent® Plantar DR™ is designed to help relieve pain and discomfort from plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and other conditions. The non-elastic strap pulls the ankle into slight dorsiflexion position and extends the toes to gently stretch the plantar fascia; passively stretching the calf and Achilles tendon while resting or sleeping to help alleviate morning pain and discomfort. The gentle stretch helps reduce muscle contracture, inflammation and associated pain. Non-slip safety sole helps prevent slipping.

Thermal Vent Supports have a soft thermal lining that captures and retains your natural body heat to help relieve pain. The microventilated, breathable membrane is comfortable against the skin and provides a free flow of air which allows the skin to breathe. Instructions For Use:

Use under the supervision of a health care professional.

Insert foot into product and secure the top ankle strap.
Thread the elevating strap through the loop located at top of product in front of ankle.
Pull elevating strap toward toes until a slight stretch is felt across the arch of the foot, bringing the front of the foot and toes upward slightly.
Secure the strap.
Prior to walking, loosen the elevating strap so there is no tension on the toes or foot.

NOTE: You may need to increase the tension slightly after continued use to achieve the appropriate amount of stretch. Do not apply too much tension as it can cause additional pain.

Washing Instructions:

Hand wash cold with mild soap and hang to dry. Do not machine wash or dry.
